When: May 8, 2025 16:00

Race start is 16:00 with the following schedule. Please arrive at least an hour early.

  • This event is a mass start format. All riders in all categories begin at 16:00 pm with an untimed climb to Stage 1.
  • Riders queuing at the beginning of the timed stages will be directed to start at intervals chosen by the course marshals. Riders must follow the course marshal’s instructions.

Please note the following:

1) Riders should wear appropriate protective equipment in addition to helmets, such as gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads. Riders should pre-ride the course in advance. Coaches must ensure that each athlete’s bike is in sound working condition prior to the race. Riders are required to wear their helmets AT ALL TIMES.

2) The Start/Finish area is found approx. 2.5 km from the HWY 1 turn off onto the 110 FSR (gravel road). This road is passable by 2WD vehicles, buses and limousines. Awards, socializing and refreshments will be held at this same parking lot.

3) The parking lot is small. If you find that the lot is full, please park first on the opposite side of the FSR at this parking lot. Once this is filled, please proceed up the 110 FSR and park where the road naturally widens about 700 m further.

4) A coach or designate will pick up number plates and transponders (timing chip) at the check in tent. Please affix the number plate to the handlebar using two cable ties and place the transponder near the bottom of one fork lower leg with the bulk of the transponder at the rear of the leg. ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING THEIR NUMBER PLATE AND TRANSPONDER AFTER THEIR RACE. A fee will be charged for lost plates/transponders.

5) No dogs please.
